Frequently Asked Questions
Our registration fee is paid via our parent portal once you have followed the process of creating your account and have selected the classes you’d like to enrol in. This payment can be made by paypal or as an online card transaction. Tuition is direct debited from our families either fortnightly (for a 10 week Term) or every 3 weeks (for a 9 week Term).
Costumes, uniforms, shoes and anything bought through the studio will be invoiced to your email allowing for electronic bank transfer.
Yes! School aged children can claim 2x Active Kids vouchers and 1x Creative Kids voucher with our studio each calendar year, saving yourself $300 on dance tuition!
Please know that vouchers can only be used for tuition (1x voucher per term) and are not valid for costumes, events, uniforms and/or shoes.
All classes during a term must be paid for regardless of whether the student attends. If you know ahead of time that your child will be absent due to holidays/vacations, commitments, or school trips, please let us know ahead of time so the class impact is minimal.
If your child is too unwell to attend class, we ask that you inform our admin team as soon as you can so they can let the teachers know and preparations can be made to catch up on any missed work.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate catch up sessions for students who miss classes, but will make every endeavour to schedule a catch-up class in the unlikely event that UNITED DANCE needs to cancel a lesson.
Classes will automatically roll over to the next term in each calendar year. We request 14 days notice for cancellations in writing via email.
Please note that should you fail to let us know about any changes to your schedule with less than 14 days notice, you will be charged for the commencement of your next direct debit (either weekly or fortnightly).
Registration fees cover the cost of insurance and licencing, administration and billing, your welcome pack, your child’s included uniform (either studio t-shirt, Baby Boppers tutu or Munchkin Magic dress, depending on enrolled program), and end of year participation trophy plus all of our added benefits!
United Dance does enforce a strict uniform policy for all its students. Our students are to wear our uniform with pride as we believe uniforms create a sense of unity and discipline as well as cutting out dancewear brands that not every family can afford.
Our uniforms and shoes are very reasonably priced and are good quality ensuring they last for years after purchase. The correct dance shoes for each genre are compulsory to maintain the safety of our dancers.
