A homegrown talent, Kate began her dance journey with United Dance in 2018 and has since excelled in her leadership and sportsmanship. She has achieved numerous placings at local eisteddfods and completed Level 5 Glenn Wood Tap, Level 3 Street Beat ATOD Tap, Gold Medal ATOD Tap, and Gold Medal ATOD Ballet exams, as well as Level 5 of DanceStep. In 2023, Kate was honored with the DanceStep Value Award for Leadership, recognizing her exceptional dedication and guid
ance.
Kate has a special talent for bringing out the best in her students, challenging them to reach their goals, improve their technique, and grow in self-confidence. Her favorite styles are ballet and tap, where her passion truly shines. Outside of teaching, Kate enjoys crafting and designing costumes, especially rhinestoning them to perfection, and her favorite food is a good chicken schnitzel.
She continues her training with a Cert IV in Dance Teaching & Management, always striving to grow and inspire. Known for her creativity, caring nature, and loyalty, Kate is a valued teacher who loves sharing her passion for dance—and her pet cat!
